Terms of Service

Welcome to Persoa. By downloading, installing, or using the app you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

1. The service

Persoa lets you generate AI portraits by uploading a selfie and choosing a style. Portraits are generated by third-party AI providers on our behalf. Generation consumes credits from your account balance.

2. Your account

• Sign-in is via Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Persoa.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, upload prohibited content, or attempt to defraud us or other users.

3. Content you upload

• You may only upload photos of yourself, or photos you have explicit permission to use.
• You retain ownership of the photos you upload and the portraits generated for you.
• You grant Persoa a limited license to process, store, and transmit your photo to our AI providers for the sole purpose of generating your portrait.
• Prohibited content includes: photos of minors other than yourself, non-consensual intimate imagery, hateful content, impersonation of another real person, or anything that violates applicable law.

4. Credits and payments

• Credits are purchased through Google Play Billing. Prices are shown at checkout in your local currency.
• Credits are non-refundable except where required by law or Google Play policy.
• Failed generations are automatically refunded to your credit balance.
• Signup bonus credits (if any) are promotional and have no cash value.

5. AI output

Generated portraits are AI-produced approximations. They may not perfectly resemble you. We do not guarantee any specific artistic result. Portraits may occasionally contain artifacts; you can regenerate at the current credit cost.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer the app, abuse the API, use automated tools to generate portraits en masse, resell credits, or use Persoa in a way that harms others.

7. Termination

You can stop using Persoa at any time by uninstalling the app and requesting account deletion (see Privacy Policy). We may terminate service for violations of these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

Persoa is provided "as is." To the maximum extent allowed by law, Persoa disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or emailed to you. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
